Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay my bill?

Statements are mailed monthly (if opted in to receive paper) or emailed electronically (if opted in to receive paperless). Information on how to pay your bill is included on your monthly statement. A link to payment is also provided via text and email to all residents by default. Monthly statements are mailed or emailed on the 24th of each month. Monthly fees, assessments, and other fees can be paid directly through EasyHOA at https://app.easyhoa.com/login.html (our recommendation).

What are the forms of payment?

Currently, monthly HOA dues can be paid via ACH, credit cards, or personal check). Auto Pay is also available for qualifying payment methods (ACH or credit card).

  1. 3.24% on Visa, MasterCard and Discover Transactions
  2. $0.50 per credit card payment attempt (Authorization Fee)
  3. NO CHARGE per ACH/Echeck transaction if set up directly through EasyHOA (our recommendation)
  4. NO CHARGE on personal checks (we recommend setting up ACH through EasyHOA, but understand if you need to write a check.)

What are the benefits of setting up payments for ACH directly within EasyHOA? We are so glad you asked.

✓ Benefits For You (the Homeowner)

  1. Convenience: No more remembering due dates or paying manually each month.
  2. Peace of mind: Payments are made automatically and securely on time.
  3. Flexibility: You can turn Auto-Pay on or off anytime from your Owner Portal.

💡 For Your HOA

  1. Steady cash flow: Ensures the HOA can pay bills and fund community projects on time.
  2. Less paperwork: Fewer late notices and payment reminders.
  3. Better accuracy: Automated payments reduce human error and improve record-keeping.
  4. Time Savings: Show your appreciation to the volunteer board members!

Are there fees when I pay my bill?

A convenience fee is assessed if you opt to pay via credit card. If paying via ACH directly through EasyHOA—manually or via Auto Pay—there is no convenience fee for using the service (the HOA is absorbing this convenience fee for your, well, convenience!) The Board is actively monitoring and this is subject to change. Payments received after the 10th of each month are considered late and are subject to a $25 late fee assessment.

Can I make future payments in advance?

Yes, you may opt to pay upcoming monthly fees in advance. You can make additional payments and designate the amount to be paid. Any payments made outside of (beyond) your current balance will be posted as a credit and will be applied to future invoices as they are generated If paying by check, please provide a check for the amount you would like to apply to your account (there is no limit on how many months you can pay in advance for this method). Any amount received, in addition to your monthly payment, will be credited to your account. Any balances owed will be satisfied prior to any credits applied to your account.

How do I check my balance?

You can check your balance at any time within your EasyHOA account (https://app.easyhoa.com/login.html).

  1. If you have already paid in full, you will see a zero balance.
  2. If you have paid more than the amount due, you will see a MINUS or DASH symbol before the account balance, meaning you have a CREDIT balance.

In addition to your EasyHOA account, your balance will be texted and email will be sent to you on the 24th of every month to notify you regarding your balance and a reminder to make payment (if applicable).

When is my payment due?

Monthly HOA fees are due by the 1st of each month. Payments received after the 10th of each month are considered late and are subject to a $25 late fee assessment.

Will I be notified when my monthly statement is available?

On the 24th of each month, a text message and email will be sent to the phone number and email address we have on file for you to notify you that your statement is available electronically (available within your EasyHOA account). If opted in to receive paper statements, a paper statement is mailed and delivered to resident mailboxes and serves as notification (this is in addition to a text message and email). Our recommendation is to opt to receive statements electronically only as this is quicker and statements can be accessed within your account and can be printed as needed.

What do monthly statements include?

Statement balances reflect monthly HOA fees, assessment fee payments, and if any late charges have occurred. Statements can be accessed within your EasyHOA account and can be downloaded or printed for your records, if needed. Otherwise, all statements remain within your account history and are always accessible. We recommend you keep copies of your statements and receipts for your records.

Help! I need assistance paying my bill.

Please reach out to the Locust Grove Board if you have any questions about payment, including how to set up credit card or ACH payments within your account. If needed, we would be happy to set it up for you, including Auto Pay.

If you are currently paying by either a bank-generated check or mailing a personal check, we highly recommend you sign up for ACH payments through EasyHOA directly to avoid additional charges. This also streamlines our payment process and ensures your payment is posted sooner.
